Trying again

I'd given my diet a solid effort and lost 10 pounds, but then got tired of it, gave up, and gained 5 pounds back. Not exactly what I was aiming for. So I'm going at it once more & vow to go through the whole program so the weight will stay off this time. Those 5 pounds are gone again, and now I'm going to think less in pounds and more along the lines of days until I'm done. :)

I'm not sure how much weight you have to lose, but for me, I have to lose about 150 lbs to get to my goal weight. For me, this is a lifestyle change. I can't go back to my old ways, or I'll just end up back where I am now. Picking something that you can stick with is really key I think. You don't want to deprive yourself and then fall off of the wagon and just go back to how you were before.

I agree with Kim... I will only do weight-loss programs that are a lifestyle change, something I can do forever. Whether I do it forever or not is another story because I sure love me some Cherry Coke and chocolate, but I won't do any "diet" or exercise program I couldn't do for life.
