1 Month

It's been a month.  I hit it hard for the first two weeks and then I lost my job and got super depressed and only semi-tried.  I'm back at it though!  I got my new Jillian Michaels dvd and started it last night.  It's 35 minutes of abs.  It was tough, but weirdly I'm not sore... that worries me a little! LOL

My one month stats aren't too bad for someone who barely tried.  I lost 5 1/2 pounds and 1 1/2 inches EACH on my hips and waist.  Let's see if I can do that in February too!

I slacked

My only change this week was losing half a pound.  I only worked out once and I was dying of cramps and a migraine this week so I'm surprised I even lost that.  Measurements are the same.  I ordered the 6 Pack Abs in 6 Weeks dvd.  It should be here next week and I'll start some hardcore (hehe) ab training!

Week 2 Measurements: 1 1/2 inches on my Waist and Hips so Far!

Here are my measurements for the week with my loss so far!  Waist, hips and weight are doing fabulous!  Arms and thighs are a little slower.  They'll catch up though!  I'm excited that my pants are fitting me better!  Now let's just keep going!

blah

Yesterday my thighs were super sore so I didn't work out.  Today I did level 1 of the Shred.  Level 1 makes my abs sore and the other levels make my thighs sore.  My eating hasn't been amazing today.  I had Lucky Charms for breakfast and then I went out to lunch and had a big ol' crepe with turkey, havarti cheese and cranberry spread and a butternut squash soup plus an Italian cream soda... That's a lot of calories.  Dinner was ok calorie-wise.  I had pasta with boneless skinless chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms and fresh mozzarella cheese. 

I am having the worst week ever.  I would love to eat junk and drown my sorrows in Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke, but I've been good.  I didn't even have a fresh chocolate chip cookie at Enrichment Night last night.  I'm proud of myself. 

Tomorrow is measurement and weight day.  We'll see how it goes.  *sigh*

Day 10: tmi alert

Last week I worked out 5 times.  I did 2 days of level 1 of the Shred.  One day of level 2 and one of level 3... then a day of yoga because I was nursing my burns from my Brazilian laser hair removal treatment.  It was HOPEFULLY the last one, but I have another scheduled on my underarms (#7).  I'm tired of having burns in the worst possible place!  I didn't work out on Saturday or Sunday because they hurt too bad.

I started a colon cleanse on Friday.  I didn't plan to, but I found two bottles of colon cleanse and they expire this month, so cleanse it is!  I've been going to the bathroom way more than I care to.

Yesterday I did level 1 of the Shred and today I did level 2.  I've been eating well, so *crossing my fingers* hopefully I can see another loss on the scale and measuring tape this week.

Right now I'm tired and hungry.  The end.

Day 6: Measurements (I couldn't wait until Monday!)

Still going!  I've done pretty well.  I've managed my eating well and worked out daily!  Yesterday I did Level 3 of the 30 Day Shred.  My legs are burning!!!  I went out to eat on Wednesday night and took half my dinner home for lunch the next day!  Here are my measurements this morning!  The purple is my loss this week.

Day 3: Still Kickin'

Today I ate 1700 calories.  I wanted to freak when I saw that the four dinner rolls I ate (I made them homemade! YUM!) came to 442 calories!  Holy cow!  Yesterday I ate 1700 calories.  That must be my norm when I'm eating healthy.  Monday I only ate 1100 calories but I was really trying to be careful since I was coming off a giant holiday binge.  1834 calories is supposedly what I need to eat each day to meet my weight goal of losing 40 lbs by the end of July.

To break it down easier I looked at a goal graph.  I started at 190.  I need to be 180 by Feb 26, 170 by April 22, 160 by June 17 and then 150 by the end of July.  It breaks down to barely over a pound a week, right?  I can do this!

Well... it sounds like my cruise is off.  I shouldn't be surprised since I have a dark cloud that hangs over me, but I'm going to kick butt anyways!  I did the 30 Day Shred again this morning.  My abs are so sore!  Cruise or no, I want to lose 2" by the end of the month!
